Gazprom chairman says gas fuel stations bring 3 bln rbl loss/year
ST.PETERSBURG, Feb 3 (PRIME) -- Gazprom has a 3 billion ruble loss per year from managing gas fueling stations because of a small number of cars running on gas, Chairman of the Board of Directors Viktor Zubkov said on Friday.
"Loading of Gazprom’s existing fuel stations stands at 34%. But we will build more, we are going to build 100 and more fuel stations (per year), where are we going then? This gap between the stations and… the cars (running on natural gas) is increasing," Zubkov said.
He added that the company expands its network of gas fuel stations deliberately to create infrastructure.
